There are a few ways of treating the incoming water to a whole house or commercial undertaking (hotel, restaurant, ...), and each technology has it's pros and cons. No single technology can claim to be the one-stop solution for all existing water problems. Modern water treatment is always a combination of different technologies to address the various contaminants that water supplies present today, whether they be municipal, from groundwater or from surface water.

Now, we introduce our latest water treatment system for residential and commercial applications. This system combines pre-filtration, ultra-filtration and UV disinfection, to produce crystal clear, healthy and great tasting water. The All-in-One-Ultra system comes panel-mounted for ease of installation.

The incoming water is filtered to 5 microns with a standard sediment filter, and then enters the ultrafiltration chamber. This is filled with a polymer membrane made of multi-bore, hollow fibers which screens out impurities down to 0.2 microns. Most waterborne contaminants and bacteria are filtered in this membrane. Viruses and other microorganisms smaller than 0.2 microns in size will be killed by a powerful UV dose in the UV disinfection chamber. Dissolved substances such as minerals are left in the water, which means the chemical composition of the water is not changed. This is beneficial not only for the health of the consumer, but also for the longevity of the piping system, no corrosion or leaching issues will appear.

The system has a flow rate of up to 10 GPM (40 LPM), with very low pressure drop, so this unit does not need a pressure tank for the permeate. Controlled by an automatic electronic controller, the high-velocity backflushing of the membrane is very efficient, only a small amount of water is used. The membrane lasts up to 5 years. Additional water treatment equipment can easily be added to the modular design as needed. The system is reversible for left to right or right to left feed.
